Aidan Bower/Quad Expert/Husqvarna:

Pee Wee A Champion 2016/Quad

AIDAN, WHERE ARE YOU COMING FROM IN ONTARIO?
I have lived my whole life in Sarsfield, Ontario.

YOU GOT A SEASON WHERE YOU HIT A FIRST PLACE AT EVERY RACE, HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO GET THAT PERFECT SEASON?:
I wanted to win the championship this year so I trained hard and tried my best. My efforts paid off with the overall in Peewee A.

LAST RACE AT FERME-NEUVE, YOU TRIED THE 12-14 YEARS OLD CATEGORY FOR THE FIRST TIME AND FINISHED SECOND, HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT INCREDIBLE WIN?:
I felt very satisfied with a second place finish in the 12-14 class. I was at a disadvantage being on a 150cc bike and was the only bike without electric start. The Peewee B class let's us start with the engines running so I practiced dead engine starts all week and things worked out. I got a very good start ahead of most bikes that had electric start and rode my own race.

WILL SIMON, JEREMY, MARC-ANTOINE, TRISTAN, XAVIER AND ADAM WILL HAVE TO CHECK THEIR BEHINDS (LAUGHS)?
For 2017, they will have to look in front of them to see me because I am coming to win!

YOUR BEST STRATEGY TO WIN:
My best strategy is to be consistent and get the most points I can each race.

HOW DO YOU GET READY BEFORE A RACE:
I watch the other classes before mine with my friends to relax and I stay positive because racing is so much fun!

HOW DO YOU SAVE YOUR ENERGY DURING A RACE:
I try to pace myself and breath so I can ride the same speed the whole race.

HOW DO YOU DO WITH THE PRESSURE TO STAY THE FIRST:
I watch the other classes before mine with my friends to relax and I stay positive because racing is so much fun!

HOW WAS IT TO RIDE AGAINST MAXIM AND DAVEY?:
It was a lot of fun racing with them and even more fun off the track because we are all friends. I look forward to racing with them again next season.

HOW DID YOU START RIDING AT FMSQ?:
I started to ride when I was 2 and have always liked to watch my dad race. One year they had the race of generations in Rockland where my dad was racing. He asked me if I wanted to race so I did. It was a lot of fun and it made me want to race more.

WHO TAUGHT YOU EVERYTHING?:
My dad taught me everything. I have watched him race many years and he teaches me new things often.

WHAT SKILL DID YOU LEARN BY YOURSELF?:
I learned drifting because it's a lot of fun. I like to slide through the corners.

BEST MOMENT FOR YOU THIS SEASON:
My best moment of the 2016 season was knowing I secured the championship after the race in Guadeloupe.

WORST MEMORY OF THE SEASON:
The worst memory was the race in Franklin. I got a flat back tire on the first lap and the chain broke on lap 5. I didn't finish the race and had to push the bike back to the trailer.

YOUR HERO:
I have 2 hero's: my dad and Jeremy McGrath.

THANKS YOU WISH TO GIVE:
I would like to thank all my sponsors that help support me this season: Quad Expert, Cobra Minicycles Canada, Kimpex Canada, Fox gear Canada, and Maxxis tires, and my Mom and Dad.

CONGRATS AIDAN! WHAT AN AMAZING SEASON!
