SUMMARY

 

The FMSQ is looking for candidates to fill a results/ scoring position. Reporting directly to the Race and Event Director, the responsible person for the results will take data and manage all race results.

 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:​

​

• Management of electronic entry of race results with the Livelaps system;

• Ensures the proper functioning of the transponder system throughout the weekend;

• Manages anomalies linked to a bad transponder in real time;

• Management of the manual backup process (Backup) with the team in place;

• Publication of results and championship points with the Livelaps system;

• Any other task related to the workstation.

 

PREREQUISITES: The candidate must be comfortable working with computer equipment/software/web application and must enjoy traveling to different event sites. Sense of responsibility and professional attitude. Ready to work intensively over a short period of time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

 

Techniques :​

• Good computer knowledge and ease of learning applications and software;

• Good ability to diagnose general and minor problems related to a computer;

• General knowledge of a computer network, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc. is an asset;

• Good knowledge of French, spoken English is an asset;

Professional skills :

• Ability to communicate with people;

• Professionalism, resourcefulness, respect and rigor;

• Sense of responsibility, tact and diplomacy;

OFFER DETAILS:

 

• Salary: Paid by the hour.

• Schedule: Working hours will be between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and/or between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
